Installation and Maintenance of Rock Wool Composite Panels
1. Installation of Rock Wool Composite Panels
Before installation, ensure that the base wall is flat and dry. Layout and cut the panels according to the design requirements. Typically, a specialized adhesive is used to attach the rock wool composite panels to the base wall, and anchor bolts are applied for reinforcement to ensure a secure connection. During installation, pay attention to the joints between panels—sealants are generally used to prevent water infiltration and heat loss.
2. Maintenance of Rock Wool Composite Panels
Under normal use, rock wool composite panels require minimal maintenance. Regularly inspect the panel surfaces for damage, deformation, or detachment, and repair or replace any damaged panels promptly. Avoid prolonged exposure to scratches from sharp objects or impacts from heavy items, which could affect performance and appearance. For panels exposed to outdoor environments, periodically clean dust and debris from the surface to maintain their thermal insulation, heat retention, and waterproof performance.
