General Safety Requirements for Gas-Fired Rock Wool Production Line
1. Personnel Qualification:
Operators of the gas-fired rock wool production line must hold a special equipment operation license and receive specialized training in natural gas safety procedures and rock wool production technology.
2. Protective Equipment:
Personnel must wear flame-retardant work clothes, dust masks, protective face shields, heat-resistant gloves, and anti-slip safety shoes. In high-temperature areas, high-temperature-resistant safety glasses must be used.
3. Environmental Requirements:
l The operating area must remain well-ventilated, and natural gas concentration monitoring devices must be functional at all times.
l Flammable materials are strictly prohibited in the area. Firefighting equipment (extinguishers, fire sand) must be placed in visible and accessible locations.
4. Furnace Shutdown and Maintenance
(1)Normal Shutdown:
ü Close the main gas valve and keep the induced draft fan running for 20 minutes to cool down the furnace.
ü Clean residual fibers from the fiber collection machine, apply anti-rust oil to the centrifugal drum, and shut down all power sources.
(2)Emergency Shutdown:
ü Activate the emergency stop button to cut off the gas supply and start the nitrogen purging system to prevent explosions.
ü Inspect and record the fault, and restart the system only after safety confirmation.
