The Aluminium Foil Faced Ceramic Fiber Board retains all the inherent properties of ceramic fiber board, such as high-temperature resistance, thermal insulation, lightweight construction, and fireproofing. Additionally, the reflective surface of the aluminium foil significantly enhances its radiant heat barrier performance, improving overall thermal efficiency. It is suitable for high-temperature furnace linings, power and thermal energy equipment, metallurgical industries, chemical pipelines, aerospace components, and building fireproofing applications where thermal reflection, dust prevention, and cleanliness are required.
2. Structure & Composition
The Aluminium Foil Ceramic Fiber Board consists of two layers:
(1) Base Layer: Ceramic fiber board, formed by vacuum forming process from high-purity ceramic fibers, offering low thermal conductivity, good thermal shock resistance, and structural strength.(2) Cladding Layer: Aluminium foil layer, made from industrial-grade aluminium foil, providing excellent reflectivity, moisture resistance, and mechanical strength. It is firmly bonded to the fiber board surface using high-temperature adhesive or thermal lamination technology.
Aluminium foil materials of varying thicknesses and coating strengths can be selected based on the application environment to enhance the board's abrasion resistance and adaptability.

Q1: What is the operating temperature range of the Aluminium Foil Faced Ceramic Fiber Board? Can it be used long-term at 1200°C?
A1: The ceramic fiber base material can withstand temperatures up to 1260°C, and the recommended long-term use temperature range is 1000°C – 1150°C. Please note: the structural stability of the aluminium foil layer at high temperatures is typically maintained up to about 650°C. Therefore, it is recommended to orient the foil face towards the lower-temperature radiation source or use it as a protective layer. For applications exceeding this temperature, options without foil or with alternative reflective coatings should be considered.
Q2: Will the aluminium foil delaminate or oxidize at high temperatures? How is the product lifespan guaranteed?
A2: We use industrial-grade anti-oxidation aluminium foil and employ high-temperature adhesive or thermal lamination technology for a strong bond to the board surface, ensuring good adhesion and heat resistance. Delamination is unlikely within the recommended temperature range (<650°C). For outdoor or humid environments, using edge sealing strips or waterproofing treatments is recommended to extend service life.
