Description

1. Product Description

High-quality Mineral Wool Boards feature excellent thermal insulation, sound absorption, fire resistance, and mechanical strength. This energy-efficient insulation material is widely used in both industrial and civil construction.

The product is non-combustible (A1 class), has low thermal conductivity, high resistance to environmental impact, and is eco-friendly. It is especially recommended for facade insulation systems, industrial equipment thermal insulation, fireproof partitions, and heat loss control in high-temperature applications.

2. Key Advantages

Feature Description
Excellent Fire Resistance Non-combustible (Class A), melting point > 1000 °C, no toxic gas emission during fire.
Efficient Thermal Insulation Low thermal conductivity (up to 0.035 W/m·K), reducing energy loss and improving thermal efficiency.
Superior Sound Absorption Open fibrous structure effectively absorbs mid- and high-frequency sound, ideal for acoustic walls and suspended ceilings.
Weather Resistance Moisture-repellent, does not age, withstands temperature fluctuations and freeze-thaw cycles, suitable for harsh climates.
Stable Mechanical Strength High compressive and tensile strength, resistant to long-term loading, compatible with various insulation and construction systems.
Eco-Friendly Free of asbestos, formaldehyde, and VOCs, compliant with EU RoHS and REACH standards.

4. Production Process
Raw Material Preparation: Carefully selected basalt, dolomite, and other minerals are crushed and sieved.
High-Temperature Melting: Raw materials are melted in a furnace fueled by natural gas or coke at >1450 °C.
Fiber Formation: The molten material is spun into fibers using four-centrifuge equipment; binding agents and hydrophobic additives are added simultaneously.
Mat Formation: Fibers settle in the forming chamber, automatically arranged and pressed into mats.
Polymerization and Drying: Mats undergo thermal treatment in a curing furnace to stabilize their structure.
Cutting and Packaging: Finished boards are cut to specified dimensions, compressed, and packaged for storage and shipment.

10. FAQ

Q1: Does mineral wool lose its properties in humid environments?
A1: Hydrophobic mineral wool boards have excellent water repellency. Short-term moisture exposure does not affect performance, but external protective cladding is recommended.

Q2:
How to verify A1 non-combustibility?

A2: All our products are A1 certified. We provide test reports and certificates from independent accredited laboratories.

Q3:
Do you provide certificates for export?

A3: Yes, we provide EN, CE, RoHS, REACH, SGS reports, and other certifications as required.

Q4:
Can boards be made in custom sizes or with facing?

A4: Yes, we offer custom dimensions and facings, including aluminum foil, fiberglass, and metal sheets.

Q5:
Does thermal conductivity vary with density?

A5: Yes, higher density slightly increases thermal conductivity. Choose based on a balance of insulation and structural strength.
