SUNTHERM industrial rock wool pipe insulation is made from stone wool fibers, rolled into shape and formed under high temperature and curing. For ease of installation, the pipe shell is cut along the axial direction on one side, which facilitates construction and ensures that the pipe shell fits tightly against the pipe to be insulated.
The outer surface of the pipe shell can be polished according to customer requirements to ensure accurate and consistent insulation thickness. Low-chlorine products can be manufactured as required. Depending on various application requirements, the pipe shell can be laminated with aluminum foil, fiberglass fabric (AG), aluminum foil (ALK), fiberglass fabric (GF), and other facing materials.
