1. Product Introduction

SUNTHERM can manufacture 1430°C ceramic fiber vacuum-formed shapes in various sizes and configurations according to customer requirements, including rectangular, round, tubular, conical, semi-circular, dome-shaped, and square forms.

Typical applications include cast covers, sealing gaskets for housings and nozzles in non-ferrous metallurgy, and vacuum-formed burner blocks and fire ports for petrochemical industries.

These ceramic fiber shapes exhibit low shrinkage within the working temperature range, maintaining excellent thermal insulation, low weight, and strong resistance to thermal shock.

Unfired materials are easy to cut or machine. During use, ceramic fiber shapes demonstrate excellent resistance to abrasion and cracking and are not easily eroded by most molten metals.
