Aluminum foil ceramic fiber paper is a composite material specially designed for extreme high-temperature environments, structured in three layers:
1. Ceramic Fiber Substrate Layer:
- Raw Materials: Mainly composed of alumina (Al₂O₃) and silica (SiO₂) in a typical ratio of 40:60, with a small amount of boric acid as a binder.
- Process: Ultrafine fibers (diameter 3–5 μm) are formed via the melt-blown method, then pressed into uniform thin sheets using a wet forming process.
2. Aluminum Foil Reflective Layer:
- Material: High-purity aluminum foil (≥99.5% purity) with a thickness of 0.05–0.1 mm, anodized to improve oxidation resistance.
- Composite Technology: The aluminum foil is bonded to the ceramic fiber layer using high-temperature hot pressing, ensuring an interface bonding strength ≥2 MPa.
3. Key Features:
- Temperature Resistance: Long-term service up to 1000℃; short-term exposure (≤2 hours) can withstand flame impact up to 1300℃.
- Density Control: Fiber distribution is optimized to maintain a density of 180–250 kg/m³, balancing lightweight design with mechanical strength.
