How Many Types of Ceramic Fiber Boards Are There?
Ceramic fiber boards can be classified into the following five types:
1. Common Ceramic Fiber Board: Made from standard ceramic fiber cotton, it is suitable for thermal insulation of general industrial furnaces and pipelines, meeting basic requirements for temperature resistance and heat insulation.
2. Standard Ceramic Fiber Board: Based on the common type but with optimized component ratios, it offers improved resistance to mechanical vibration and higher working temperature, making it suitable for industrial applications with slightly higher performance requirements.
3. High-Purity Ceramic Fiber Board: Produced from high-purity ceramic fiber cotton with higher alumina content, it delivers significantly better temperature resistance and insulation performance. It is used in high-temperature industrial equipment and for insulating precision instruments.

4. High-Alumina Ceramic Fiber Board: Manufactured from high-purity, alumina-rich ceramic fiber cotton, this type further increases aluminum content, with operating temperatures up to 1400°C. It is widely applied in steel, metallurgy, and other high-temperature industries.
5. Zirconium-Containing Ceramic Fiber Board: Enhanced with zirconia components, it achieves service temperatures up to 1600°C. With excellent thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance, it is ideal for extreme high-temperature environments such as aerospace and nuclear industries.
