1. Storage Conditions

(1) Temperature and Humidity Control
Soluble fiber textiles should be stored in a stable environment with a recommended temperature of around 20°C and low humidity (≤60%) to prevent premature dissolution or mold growth.
Warehouses should have proper ventilation to prevent moisture accumulation, and dehumidifiers can be used if necessary.
(2) Classification and Protection
Store textiles according to material type or intended use, avoiding contact with other chemicals or contaminants.
Use moisture-proof packaging, dust-proof bags, or protective films to prevent contamination.

(3) Stacking Method
Stack vertically to avoid deformation or sticking caused by horizontal compression. Maximum stacking height should not exceed 1.5 meters, with soft pads between layers to prevent friction.
Thin or fragile textiles should be laid flat in moisture-proof containers; avoid hanging to prevent stretching or deformation.

2. Transportation Conditions

(1) Packaging Requirements
Use waterproof and moisture-proof packaging materials (e.g., foil bags or laminated woven bags), with desiccants or moisture barriers inside to prevent exposure to water during transport.
For precision medical textiles, vacuum sealing is recommended to reduce humidity changes.
(2) Transport Vehicles and Loading
Prefer temperature-controlled vehicles (temperature ≤25°C, humidity ≤60%) and avoid transport during rain or extreme heat.
Secure cargo boxes with shock-absorbing straps or partitions to prevent damage from sudden stops or vibrations.

(3) Loading and Handling
Use forklifts or lifting equipment to handle packages gently; do not throw or apply heavy pressure. Manual handling requires gloves to avoid contamination from sweat or oils.
After loading/unloading, inspect packaging integrity, repair damage promptly, and replace desiccants if necessary.

3. Special Precautions

(1) Biologically soluble fibers (e.g., medical dressings) should be stored away from light to prevent UV-accelerated degradation.

(2) High-temperature soluble fibers (e.g., industrial AES fibers) must be kept away from fire sources; transport vehicles should be equipped with fire safety equipment (e.g., dry powder extinguishers).

(3) Long-term storage: Regularly check temperature, humidity, and packaging; recommended storage period ≤3 months to avoid performance degradation.

4. Example Handling Procedures

(1) Pre-warehouse inspection: Confirm packaging seals and record temperature/humidity data.

(2) Organized shelving: Store by label or category, elevate from floor moisture.

(3) Dispatch and shipment: Verify transport conditions, reinforce packaging, and sign transport agreements.

By following standardized storage and transportation procedures, the performance stability and safety of soluble fiber textiles can be maximized.
