What are the applications, advantages, and disadvantages of ceramic fiber board?
Ceramic Fiber Board (also known as Aluminum Silicate Board or Ceramic Wool Board) is made from ceramic fiber (aluminum silicate) using a dry-forming process. It is an excellent refractory and thermal insulation material with a rigid texture, good toughness, high strength, and strong resistance to wind erosion.
It is an ideal energy-saving material for furnaces, pipelines, and other thermal insulation equipment. The board does not expand easily when heated, is lightweight, easy to install, and can be freely cut or bent to meet various construction needs.
Advantages of Ceramic Fiber Board:
It offers high temperature resistance, excellent thermal insulation, water repellency, lightweight density, easy cutting, and simple installation.
Specifications:
Ceramic fiber boards are available in various specifications and can be cut to size according to customer requirements. They also come in different densities. The most commonly used thicknesses are 50 mm and 100 mm, though other thicknesses are also available.
